Kid’s Valentine’s Day Gifts on the Fly
Sometimes busy schedules keep you from planning gifts in advance, especially for holidays that come and go quickly like Valentine’s Day. Heading to local shops can give you enough time to find festive items without worrying about shipping getting delayed.
I found awesome V-Day goodies at our local dollar store, appropriate for a two-year-old and eight-month-old.
For my littlest one, Quinton, are yogurt melts, an adorable stuffed bear with a heart, “lovable” crinkly toy, and teether.
My toddler, Logan, is going to love his puppy doll, Snoopy chocolates, sugar lollipop, gummy bears, and a few Mickey Mouse toys to match his Valentine’s bag.
The highlight of the boys’ gifts is this amazing Mickey Mouse chairbacker that holds their presents. I got these at Pottery Barn Kids, personalized, for $15 (more with personalization). If you order these quickly by Thursday, February 4, they should still arrive in time for the holiday. If not, you can make your own goodies bag with a paper bag or shoebox (have the kids decorate and label their names), get a festive gift bag, or use spare tote bags.
Valentine’s Day is always a fun holiday because it’s a special day to show extra love and care. Let me know what you’re doing for your children’s Valentine’s Day gifts in the comments.
I hope your holiday is filled with lots of joy, hearts, and love!
