Product Review: S’Mores Gift Box from Spoonful of Comfort
Our family took a trip to our in-laws Florida vacation home earlier this year. We had a wonderful time and I wanted to show our gratitude for hosting us. I wanted to give a gift that wouldn’t just clutter up their home.
I came across a super cool, fancy s’mores gift box at a Spoonful of Comfort and thought it was perfect for their entire family to enjoy.
The presentation was very cute and I was actually able to enjoy the s’mores kit with them recently, since they had come back to the Midwest for the year.
Pictured above is the kit, with a few embellishments my sister-in-law added while entertaining us.
Here’s what is actually included in the kit for $49.99:
-4 mini roasting marshmallow sticks
-Matches in a tree bark container (very modern chic)
-Ticket Chocolate S’mores kit for 4 people
-Mini pot of honey (added at checkout, extra $5)
-Campfire Harmonica (added at checkout, extra $12)
Not included in the kit that is pictured below:
-Culinaria 85% Cacao Chocolate
-Red bandana
-Galvanized tray
The experience of opening that box was so well put together, with each item packaged beautifully.
When we started to enjoy the s’mores from Ticket Chocolate, the graham crackers fell apart on us easily. It was also a stretch to share the graham crackers four ways. It would have worked, but the graham crackers were more in a smaller rectangle than the traditional larger square size. Now, the chocolate was HEAVENLY, and melted so richly in my mouth. It was so decadent and sweet. Same with the marshmallows in taste. Interestingly enough they NEVER burned. Not sure what it is coated with to make it that way.
Overall, if you’re looking for presentation and just a quick s’mores treat, this is fine.

At $49.99 though, that price is pretty steep for just the experience and you may want to simply create your own s’mores kit as a thank you gift! Add the prepackaged staples of graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate of any brand in a neat tray similar to the one pictured. Throw in a red bandana and use these printables (below) for a fun experience for the giftees to enjoy.
